Tom Tresser

Tom Tresser is a former Shakespearean actor and Off-Loop theater producer with over 50 years of grassroots civic experience. He calls himself a civic educator, creativity champion, and public defender. When he was the managing director at Pegasus Players in 1986, he created the Chicago Young Playwrights Festival, which will celebrate its 40th season in 2027.
