What does a spirituality of gratitude look like?  How can this way of looking at the world help us to negotiate the           complexity of our world today?

Dorothy Day is known as the Mother of the Peace Movement. She truly was a prophetic example of what it means to speak           the truth with love by serving the poor, standing up for women's voting rights, worker's rights, care of the environment, and peace and justice for all people.

Lisa will specifically focus on Dorothy’s embodiment of the works of mercy and the gratitude with which she lived. Using Dorothy’s inner life and outer experiences as a lens, participants will explore their own spiritual journeys.
