Still Point Theatre Collective is a community of Chicago artists who use theater to educate, inspire, and challenge our communities to action. Through performances, workshops, retreats, and community events we celebrate our common spirituality, and raise consciousness on issues of peace and justice.
Since 1993, we have used theater-making to amplify hard-to-hear voices at society's margins, including prison inmates and former inmates, adults with developmental disabilities, and alumni of the state child welfare system.

The performers of Sisters Rising are formerly incarcerated Chicago-area women who meet weekly in facilitated workshops focused on developing performance and writing skills.
Still Point employs the artists of Sisters Rising to write, rehearse and perform original theatre performances based on their lived experiences and their aspirations for their new lives. Still Point facilitators lead participants through public speaking, writing and acting exercises.
