performed by The Unheard Directed by Annalise Raziq, with Kamaran Madison and Jacob Kaufman What's Being in Foster Care Really Like?Find out from the youth themselves. The Unheard is a group of young adults who are alumni of the Illinois child welfare system. Their first production is a 45-minute play that they wrote and perform themselves. In it, they relate their life stories and the personal impact of their journey through foster care. They emphasize their struggle to find and maintain meaningful personal connections along the way.
